We had a wonderful family room with a separate bedroom for our daughter—so spacious and comfy! The breakfast was a highlight, especially the delicious fresh croissants. Just wish we had better access late at night. 😊

The food itself tasted like standard pub fare, which didn't match the attractive setting. Traffic noise could be bothersome if rooms were chosen at the front, especially with quarry lorries starting early in the morning. Lastly, wireless internet access only worked downstairs, not in the room, which was a bit of a letdown.

Good pick for a budget stay in Matlock with outstanding value for money. The breakfast was fantastic with plenty of choices. For a better experience, consider dining in the hotel one night.
